Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
Three aides of former Maoist area commander Bhanu Singh Kharwar, who were on the run for a long time, have been arrested, the Garhwa police said on Tuesday.
Those arrested are Vikas Singh, Ram Pyari Korwa and Rajesh alias Rajeshwar Yadav. The trio were arrested on the instructions of Garhwa SP, Anjani Kumar Jha based on a tip-off, said Police Inspector Vikas Kumar.
Kharwar is currently lodged in Garhwa Jail.
The trio were Bhanu's aides, against whom many cases under the Arms Act were registered at various police stations.
